Houses, fences, and constructions appear as remnants of a civilization striving to engage in dialogue with nature, though they often remain hidden behind the dense foliage. They are unreachable objectives, structures lost within a web of greens, blues, and ochres, reminding us that even in the absence of the human figure, its attempt to shape nature persists.
These are not wild landscapes; they hold a story, and every boundary between the untamed and the structured reflects an intervention, a conscious decision. There is a degree of artifice in them, a subtle choreography between the spontaneous and the designed.
My artistic process has evolved over time. While I initially worked exclusively with oil paint, today the pictorial process has taken on a more central role, and I have felt drawn to experiment with new media such as acrylics, aerosols, iridescent paints, and gold leaf.
I conceive all these scenes with the desire and intention to reclaim the right to contemplation and to inspire in the viewer a renewed way of perceiving reality, one in which experimentation and aesthetic pleasure are ever-present.
